Cosnstruction Recruitment Group are currently looking for Business Development Managers. This is for a an exciting opporunity to work apart of a MEP Consultancy who have offices across Birmingham, Cambridge, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and Milton Keynes.

Essentials:

• High knowledge and experience of the UK construction industry with a sales, client and consultancy market-facing track record.
• Solution sales capability – engaging clients on their business issues and co-developing solutions that drive client benefit and commercial returns.
• Successfully operating within a target-driven environment, with a consistent track record of achieving or exceeding targets. Authoring compelling bids and pitching to clients with a track record of high success rate.
• Proven ability in managing a pipeline, with solid account planning, timely reporting, and CRM.
• An ability to analyse markets, understand client needs and convert opportunities into compelling value propositions.
• Confident within the digital / data / technology revolution.

This role will operate within the N&C Regional Leadership and develop a strong go-to-market strategy for the region.

Role and responsibility include:

• Bring an exposure to new and existing clients that operate in the chosen core and emerging market sectors, specifically driving holistic solutions to client problems, with a focus on NZC.
• Leveraging relationships with cross related clients, linking their own market sectors challenges to our HLE capability set.
• Prepare an approach that naturally forms a multi-discipline value to clients, and effectively balances the needs of solving a technical problem and adding commercial value.
• Working closely with marketing, help create value propositions from a kit of parts from the Product and Innovation (P&I) group.
• To bring client insights into HLE and new VPs out.
• Drive excellence in client management, promotes firmwide transparency and comfortably delivers their success through others.
• Working to challenge the norm, help to set goals / develops plans for business & revenue growth around sector structure and net zero carbon strategies (with a net new capabilities / pipeline in new markets).
