Job Description
Manager, Microbiology - SGS North America, Inc., Fairfield, New Jersey. Leading departmental and/or company-wide projects designated to improve the nature of SGS client services; Assuming study director responsibilities for all routine microbiology studies as well as more advanced or specialized studies as requested by clients. Duties here include test scheduling, test preparation, proper application of test method(s), data collection, data review, and approval of the final report of analysis; Playing a lead role in departmental or company-wide projects designed to improve the internal efficiency and overall quality of work performed at the laboratory; and Monitoring the progress for the Microbiology Department, reporting any noteworthy concerns to the Microbiology Director.
