Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £34k + Training + Benefits

A professional and privately owned Water Hygiene / Legionella management company based in the Midlands are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their established team of engineers. The successful candidate will be able to confidently carry out L8 compliance duties across a mixed portfolio of sites ensuring work carried out is compliant with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Will be fully conversant in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Good IT skills.
" Familiar with onsite logbooks.
" Will organise workload in line with company / client requirements.
" Will have a positive attitude and always remain professional.

The Role:
" Legionella sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" CWST cleans and chlorinations.
" Carrying out cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" Closed System sampling and analysis.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Carrying out mains injections.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Undertaking showerhead cleans and descales.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
