Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?
We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants who possess excellent SEND knowledge, experience working in schools, computer literacy, and strong communication skills.
Contract: Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 3:30PM - Term Time Only
Salary: Final salary based on experience
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing support and assistance to students with SEND in the classroom, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
* Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities and interventions that meet the individual needs of students.
* Utilising your strong SEND knowledge to implement appropriate strategies and interventions to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
* Assisting students with their learning and providing additional support with tasks as needed, including reading, writing, and numeracy activities.
* Using your computer literacy skills to support students with technology-based learning tools and resources, as well as assisting with administrative tasks.
* Communicating effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the care and education of students with SEND.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* An Enhanced DBS check, ensuring suitability to work with children and young people.
* Previous experience working in schools, particularly with students with SEND.
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Excellent English speaking and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students and colleagues.
* Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency with common software programs and the ability to use technology to support learning.
