Pipelaying Gang required for a Highways project based in Stoke will consist of Machine Driver, Pipelayer and Topman
You will be fully proficient in carrying out all aspects of drainage operations (deep ), using various types and sized pipes, manhole, trench & slip boxes..
Job description
· Reviewing enquiry documentation
· Must be able to use Pipe lasers.
· Lay Concrete, Clay, and Plastic Pipes – 2.5 metre
· Manage ground water setting up correct size pump for the job in hand.
· Ensuring pipes are tested and laid on correct bed and surround.
· Ensuring backfilling to trenches is correct.
· Must have Confined space training.
· External Works/Kerbs/Edgings/slabs/block paving.
PIPELAYER Qualifications
Machine Driver will need CPCS & AFFILIATED NPORS Card
Pipelayer will need CSCS Card
Top Man with Dumper Ticket will need CSCS/CPCS or AFFILIATED NPORS Card
Duration of work is approx 2.5 months
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2.5 months
Expected hours: 44 per week
