About the Client:

My client is a market leading engineering and manufacturing business located Wolverhampton who focuses in the aerospace/defence industry.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a 6-9month contract in the aerospace sector. The role involves assembly, maintenance and maintain mechanical systems of aircraft. They would need to meet the high standard of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform the assembly and installation of mechanical components and systems.
Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
Understand and explain technical drawings and specifications.
Communicate effectively with the engineering and quality departments

Requirements:

Previous experience as a mechanical fitter, preferably within the aerospace industry.
Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and tools.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Relevant certifications in mechanical fitting or a related field are highly desirable.
