Project Manager

Project Manager / Project Leader / Electrical Project Manager required to join a global manufacturer within the electrical industry.

Project Manager / Project Leader / Electrical Project Manager shall oversee projects within the critical power / UPS systems sector from inception to completion, ensuring specifications, timelines, and budget constraints are met, Ensuring compliance with RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and health and safety regulations.

The Project Manager / Project Leader / Electrical Project Manager will idealy possess project management experience, expertise in conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and / or familiarity with RAMS, electrical qualifications including 18th edition (BS 7671:2008), and hold a CSCS card or equivalent certification.

Project Manager / Project Leader / Electrical Project Manager Role
• Managing electrical engineering projects from handover through to final completion.
• Prepare project documentation and oversee health and safety compliance, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Organize factory acceptance testing (FAT) and equipment installations.
• The Project Manager will own the entire Project delivery relationship with important clients and through high level, highly proactive engagement will be constantly alert to opportunities to develop, improve and maintain that relationship.
• Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery for installation of small to large Critical Power products working remote and visiting customer sites when required, mainly in and around London.
• Perform consulting services at customer sites as well as over the phone.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

Project Manager /  Project Leader / Electrical Project Manager Requirements
• Proven electrical engineering background in project management, ideally within the UPS market or a technical electrical qualification such as 18th edition with experience working on complicated electrical systems, looking to progress in to a project role.
• Detailed knowledge of UPS Systems, uninterruptible power supplies, critical power, LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, generators, battery systems, power distribution or similar electrical engineering products is preferred.
• Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Product Manager, Programme Manager, Applications Engineer, Project Leader, Electrical Project Manager, UPS Engineer,  Electrical Manufacturing Project Manager, Production Project Manager, or Operations Project Manager or similar within the electrical engineering sector.
• Electrical qualifications including 18th edition (BS 7671:2008), and holds a CSCS card or equivalent certification.
• Fully remote, willing to travel occasionally to the London area.
• Full UK driving license
