Buyer - Construction Main Contractor - Huddersfield
My client is a medium sized regional main contractor with an excellent reputation within the Yorkshire market. Due to promotion of their current buyer to Head of Procurement, they are now looking for someone to step into the role.
The successful person will be mentored, and trained by someone who has worked the role for years.
They have a great family feel office culture, working from brand new offices with parking.
Role:
* Materials/product buyer for a medium sized main contractor.
* Liaising with site managers and the accounts staff to purchase materials for site.
* Getting 3 quotes per product, comparing against budget, checking off once order arrives, giving purchase order.
* Using Sage
Must Have:
* Some experience working within accounts/admin/buying within the construction or building materials industry.
* Must be organised and have good attention to detail
Advantageous
* Previous Sage experience.
* Can read drawings (building layouts).
