As an Electrical Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining sitewide facilities systems in manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and collaborate effectively; they will demonstrate a willingness to learn, flexibility, creative problem solving, exemplary communication skills and an ability to think on their feet.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine preventive maintenance per schedule including calibrations.
Document routine preventive maintenance on PM checklists, record data if applicable and maintain completed checklist within Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs (electrical, controls equipment and instrumentation) utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Understands the principles of measuring levels, pressures, temperatures, flow, and uses process meters to identify and correct failures and make improvements.
Provide inputs to Supervisor and/or Facilities Engineer to improve reliability.
Support Tool Ownership to define and write preventive maintenance procedures.
