Accounts and Tax Senior required. My client is a very well-established accountancy firm based in Leicester with offices all over the UK. Boasting nearly a century since they were established, my client has a wealth of experience and work with a wide range of clients across a number of different industries.
Due to recent growth, they are seeking an Accounts and Tax Senior to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Director and Senior Management team, and will be working closely with our clients to provide support mainly with management accounts and year-end accounts.
Accounts and Tax Senior Position Overview
Take care of arising queries with clients
Liaise with HMRC, including compliance checks
Produce draft tax computations and a provision for inclusion in the accounts
Plan and take control of professional work for the firm's clients
Contribute to any tax advisory projects the firm takes on
Seek out new opportunities to bring in new clients to the firm
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and will be ACA/ACCA/CTA part-qualified/qualified.
Accounts and Tax Senior Position Requirements
Previous experience working in an accountancy practice (essential)
Previous mixed tax experience (essential)
Experience using Iris and Xero (preferred)
Experience using cloud-based accountancy software's
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fantastic organisational and time management skills

Accounts and Tax Senior Position Remuneration
£25,000-£35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
