This role is based in the Midlands whereby ideal locations for engineers to live include Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Walsall, Dudley, Cannock, Lichfield, Coventry and any area within the Midlands. We currently have engineers who travel from across this territory. Great transport link access.
The Opportunity & Requirements:
Working at a highly automated, PLC controlled and modern manufacturing site, you will play a vital role performing fault-finding and repairing production equipment, maintenance and general manufacturing process improvement duties.
Although this site is very much PLC and automation driven, we do not need PLC programming skills. Awareness of PLC's and how they operate would be advantageous however the main experience we need to see is an electrical bias and the proven ability to work in an automated, robotic, mechatronic type manufacturing environment. Full training and personal development on specific technical aspects of the role will be given.
Both these roles work a shift pattern which is based on an industry leading rota system designed to give engineers superb work/life balance options. Perfect experience will exist in engineers from the automotive, food / beverage manufacturing, pharmaceutical or similar production environments.
