Facilities Manager
Job type: Permanent, full time
Location: Cambridge
Salary: Up to £50,000
The role:
This role will be responsible for the IFM service delivery within the area as detailed above and in accordance with the key responsibilities detailed below and contained within the supplier contract agreement.
Key responsibilities:
* Total responsibility and accountability for the delivery of all service lines within your area of responsibility
* Be the point of contact for all site visitors and suppliers. Work closely with the FM Helpdesk, Planner, Soft Services Manager and Engineering Team ensuring all supplier visits are co-ordinated and planned.
* Responsible for organising additional activities required on sites to contribute to overall high level of service delivery on site
* Responsible for ensuring that all PPM activities are completed within SLA within your area of responsibility
* Carry out other duties or responsibilities that may from time to time be assigned by Senior Account Management
* Required to be flexible to travel to branches and other offices as required
* Encourage a safer culture for everyone in the organisation in everything you do, every time you do it
* Carry out health and safety audits
* Ensure H&S guidelines and regulations are followed at all times
Candidate specification:
* Professional qualifications / BIFM member
* IOSH Managing Safely
* Experience within an IFM Management arena
* Strong customer and client focus – must have experience in customer facing Facilities Management environment
* Supplier management – must have experience of managing suppliers in a similar type of environment
* Evidence of managing performance and identifying improvements through the use of management data
* Experience of working to budgets
