Position: Long-term Design & Technology position

Location: Accrington, Lancashire

Start Date: September 2024

As a Design & Technology Teacher at our school, you will:

Inspire and engage students in the exciting world of design, engineering, and technology.
Foster creativity and critical thinking through practical projects and problem-solving activities.
Deliver dynamic lessons that integrate theory with real-world applications, preparing students for future careers in STEM fields.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and enhance teaching practices.
Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential, providing tailored guidance and feedback.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, competitions, and events.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for design and technology education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
