Role Overview: As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Manager in the day-to-day operations of our children's residential service. You will assist in overseeing staff, ensuring high standards of care, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Manager in the overall management and leadership of the residential service.
* Assist in supervising and mentoring staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies and procedures.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and individual programs for residents.
* Help to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the home, promoting the well-being and development of our young people.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a children's residential service, with a focus on EBD.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to support and motivate a team.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines governing children's residential care.
* Passion for supporting the growth and development of young people.
