Senior Embedded Engineer
Location: Worcestershire (UK)
Work pattern: Hybrid (1-2 days from home)
Salary: Negotiable (circa £55k-£60k)
Platform recruitment are currently partnered with one of the global leaders in innovative technologies for the security and safety markets, and are currently on the search for a highly motivated Senior Embedded Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role will involve developing real time embedded software applications using C++, as well as running under Linux/FreeRTOS
Key deliverables include:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded systems development in a product development team.
* Expertise in Embedded C and C++ with multi-threading.
* Experience with the STM32 family of microprocessors.
Good to have:
* Experience working using RTOS.
* Knowledge in IoT cyber security.
* Experience developing commercial applications.

This role is hybrid and a high priority. Our client is open with salary depending on experience, as well as offering employer pension contribution with no employee expectation to contribute.
