This position is responsible for engineering electrical controls projects from design to commissioning. Primarily in the municipal water and wastewater industry.
Position Responsibilities:
Design electrical schematics for control panels, motor control centers, power distribution panels, and assorted wiring diagrams.
Create Bill of Materials for each project
Develop Control Narratives for the intended function of the project.
Read and follow project plans and specifications.
Support the control panel shop during the manufacturing process with design related questions.
Manage all project documentation per company standards and project specific requirements.
Communicate with customers throughout the design and construction phases of the projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):
1. Do you have 10 years of experience in a project engineer role (or similar) including design, implementation, and project closeout.
2. Do you have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 2-year Associates degree in Automation related field. Preferred but not required.
3. Do you have Experience with electrical CAD Software.
4. Do you have possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of co-workers, management, and clients.
5. Do you have Experience with project management, covering initial concept/proposal, design, implementation, and closeout.
6. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
