Yard Operative/Labourer

We are looking for a Yard Operative/Labourer to join our clients team based in Sidcup.

As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various general labour tasks to support the operations of the company. This position requires attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable experience in the industry.

This person must be physically fit due to heavy lifting and able to work in all weather conditions.

Pay is £11.50 per hour

This is a Monday to Friday position with early starts and possible weekend work

Responsibilities of the Yard Operative:

* Clean, prepare and maintain Company equipment

* Arrange equipment, load and unload vehicles and sort equipment upon return to the yard

* Maintain a clean and safe yard and storage areas

* This is a busy physical role

the applicant must be aware that this is a outside role and must be prepared to get stuck in.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Physically fit, as this role involves manual handling

* Good communication skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
