My client in the Maltby area of Rotherham are looking for Industrial Sewing Machinists and Upholsterers.
The company specialise in manufacturing furniture for commercial business customers.
Candidates must be experienced upholstery machinist who have the skills to be able to tack a variety of models as part of a team on a fast-paced production line.
The successful candidate will:
A High degree of machining skills, including lockstitch, overlock, welting, twin needle and top stitch.
A strong eye for detail and quality with the ability to pattern match fabrics and ensure seam sizes are matched.
Previous experience of using a DURKOPP Adler machine or similar.
Previous experience of sewing upholstery including caravan seats, backrests, scatters and bolsters.
A strong machining background with a keen eye to detail.
Be flexible in their approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Demonstrate reliability and be able to work as part of a team.
Committed to achieving the targets of the department whilst working safely and in full compliance with the health and safety requirements of the department.
